In partnership with Cristo Rey Oklahoma City Catholic High School’s Parent Teacher Organization, The Program College Consulting is delivering a pilot program for sophomores at this one-of-a-kind high school in Oklahoma.

Cristo Rey OKC is a private, Catholic college preparatory high school exclusively educating students of limited means. Cristo Rey’s differentiator is its Corporate Work Study Program, through which students work five days each month at partnering businesses, performing entry-level work in a professional environment. The Corporate Work Study Program helps underwrite the majority of students’ tuition and helps students develop critical job skills. This program enables a Cristo Rey education to be within financial reach for families who would never otherwise be able to afford such an opportunity.

Scissortail Community Development Corporation is a non-profit that changes the lives of economically disadvantaged Oklahomans through community development, economic empowerment, workforce development, and social impact. To achieve this, their work focuses on education, and job and wealth creation to help people be prepared to hold jobs, earn a livable wage, save, and gain economic power and independence.

Scissortail is partnered with The Program College Consulting to facilitate the delivery of this program to fully prepare students of limited means to be accepted to college and persist to graduation — without debt.
